I am a Senior Lecturer in Computational Techniques Applied to Medicine at City St George’s University of London and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London.

For my research, I create biophysical models, AI tools and new imaging techniques to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, especially cardiovascular ones. I am particularly interested in designing and applying hybrid physics+AI tools to biomedical problems to gain new explainable insights into disease processes.

I have been a member of the Institute of Physics (IOP) Computational Physics Group committee since 2024, and I co-organised an IOP conference on Physics-Enhanced Machine Learning in 2025.
